Attitude & Posing

When we “engrave” something into our heads, it becomes easy for us to believe it. But sometimes we tend to “engrave” something’s in our heads with little knowledge and understanding just because we love the idea or the idea was proposed to us as being suitable to us. It’s no secret, that society has taught us that if you are beautiful, you should be model. But is that it? Is beauty alone good enough to qualify one as a model? The answer is no, just like a degree alone is not enough to qualify you for a job. Thus one has to go through the daunting process of a job interview even if the company knows that his or her qualification has equipped the person with the knowledge the job requires. But why daunt the person? To see the person’s character and attitude behind all that knowledge. Therefore even for a model, beauty alone, is never enough. It begins with one’s attitude!

Now attitude contributes so much to a model’s success, and effort too. It is with effort that one learns the art of speaking with their face and body, and once one has learned that, they have already started to shape their attitude in the right direction because they have moved away from the stereotypical idea that looks shall do it all. Have an open mind to the idea that you can speak with your body and in different languages. Once you know that, you can try and find the different languages that your body can speak in and build yourself as a model around that, and build your confidence too. This is because you know your strengths and abilities, which is the best thing one can ever do. Be open to learning, know your abilities, form the right attitude and all this will be a door opener to your modelling career. Just like when you posses that degree, you need to have the ideal attitude in order for a company to hire you.

It takes more than beauty to make a model.

Knowing your weaknesses and strengths determines your abilities and skills as an employer or employee, in any industry. Similarly, knowing your values and moral standards determine the extent to which your beliefs are reflected in your goals and ambitions.

Emotional intelligence, i.e. The art of controlling your emotions and directing your feelings towards bettering or improving yourself as a person, is important in realizing your self- worth!! Therefore beauty lies within the person who is in complete control and is comfortable with their emotions, and as a result comfortable in their own skin!!

It takes more the beauty to become a successful model or a successful professional. It takes more than what the average person is willing to put it!!

It’s true, it’s difficult to work with someone who does not know what is expected of them or who just do things to pass time and not for the passion and love of the thing that is being done. One needs to learn that just as much that you go into a specific career because you have passion for it, being a model works in the same. When you have passion os love something you’ll do all you can to make it work and come out on top. So i totally agree, modelling is beyond looks and what has been engraved in ones mind, one could say that it is a lifestyle.
